Apparatus and Specifications

Truck Number: 1838

Make: KME

Model: Predator

Year: 2006

Type: Pumper - 2,000GPM 1,500g Tank

Additional Information: Engine 1838 is the first truck to leave station for most emergency responses. It's the newest truck at DVFC and has a variety of tools and equipment to work at any emergency scene. It features an 8 crew cab, 6 seats are equipped with air packs while 2 fold down.

Truck Number: 1872

Make: Ford

Model: F Super Duty

Year: 1993 Type: Rescue/Man Power

Additional Information: Rescue 1872 is the "Jaws Truck". It is used for most Motor Vehicle Accidents because it features the largest pair of cutters and spreaders (Jaws of Life). The truck seats two (including the driver) in the cab, and four in the back. It also carries many necessities for MVAs.

Make: Grumman

Model: Ford C8000 Diesel

Year: 1989

Type: Pumper - 1,250GPM 1,250g Tank

Additional Information: Engine 1835 is an older pumper. The truck can hold 5, 2 in the cab and 3 in the open-air, jump seats. It features most types of hoses, hose attachments, and a variety of other tools.

Type: Tanker - 1,250GPM 4,000g Tank

Additional Information: Truck 1843 is used only for hauling large amounts of water to the scene. It only holds two in its cab.

Type: Transportation

Additional Information: Truck 1812 is mainly used for transporting manpower to a scene. It is a four door diesel. It is often used to move equipment, direct traffic and set up Loading Zones (LZ).

Type: Mini Pumper - 500GPM 300g Tank

Additional Information: Truck 1820 is a 4 wheel drive, mini pumper and is used for smaller, more remote fires. It has a manual transmission, and can hold 2 crew in its cab. It also features a valve and spray nozzle on the front of the truck from which a firefighter can make a moving attack.
